Hire Painting Inc was built from firsthand construction experience. Our roots in Industrial and Commercial painting and the construction industry give us a practical understanding of the challenges contractors face in the field. Today, we bring that experience to Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Monitoring, and Coatings Quality Control consulting.
Our Story
Hire Painting Inc. was founded in 2014 as a structural steel painting contractor, giving us firsthand experience with the demands of complex infrastructure construction. Working in the field taught us the realities contractors face every day from safety and regulatory requirements to quality control, project specifications, schedules, and the challenges of delivering work in demanding environments. From the early years of the company, Mani Maleki provided behind the scene support and technical guidance as an advisor on safety and environmental matters. His expertise complemented our field experience and helped strengthen the safety and environmental foundation that would later become an important part of Hire Painting Inc's future. As the company evolved, the financial and operational challenges of Structural steel painting led us to make a strategic decision about our future. Rather than leave the industry, we built on what we knew best. We transitioned from performing the work to providing the specialized Safety and Coatings Quality Control support that contractors need to perform it successfully.
That transition became the foundation of Hire Painting Inc. today. As our consulting services expanded, Mani became an integral part of Hire Painting Inc., helping develop our Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Environmental capabilities. Together, we built a multidisciplinary team of experienced safety professionals, coating inspectors, and industrial hygiene professionals supporting complex construction and infrastructure projects. Today, Hire Painting Inc. provides Site Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Monitoring, and Coatings Quality Control consulting services for construction and infrastructure projects. Our roots in structural steel painting continue to shape how we work. We understand construction from the contractor's perspective because we have been on that side of the project. We bring that field experience to every assignment, working alongside contractors and project teams to support safety, compliance, quality, and successful project delivery.

Eric Fonseca
Founder & President
Eric Fonseca Founder & President Eric Fonseca began his career in the industry in 1995, working in the field as a structural steel and bridge painter. His years working in construction provided the foundation for establishing Hire Painting Inc. in 2014 and later leading the company's transition into specialized Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, and Quality Control Consulting.

Mani Maleki
C.I.H / CHMM
Mr. Maleki started his carrier in 1986 in hazardous material remediation including underground storage tank removal and RCRA superfund cleanups. He received his master’s in occupational safety engineering in 1991. Since 1994, he has worked as an independent consultant as well as employee of a few reputable consulting firms in New York City metropolitan area and Northeast region. He has managed large-scale construction projects involving demolition, rehabilitation, abatement of roadways, elevated steel structures, and transit tunnels.

Shannone Kaplan
Senior Safety Manager
Shannone Kaplan brings more than 15 years of experience in construction safety and environmental compliance. His background includes new building construction, bridge repair and expansion, civil engineering, and heavy construction projects. In addition to his field experience, Shannone serves as a construction safety trainer, providing OSHA New York City Department of Buildings, and environmental safety training.

Dilma Lima
Senior Coatings Quality Control Manager
Dilma brings more than 25 years of industry experience, beginning her career in bridge painting in 2001. Her field experience provided a strong foundation in surface preparation, protective coatings, and the demands of complex infrastructure projects. She later transitioned into Coatings Quality Control and has spent the past 14 years working as a certified NACE Inspector.
